Sacred Tales Productions is a small, independent video-editing company that center's in doing film work for small-businesses and local communities. We specialize in creating videos that help small time entrepreneurs get their businesses out into the world. All businesses need promotion in order to thrive, and we carry not only the necessary skills, but the professional attitude and mindset needed to ensure that video will attract customers.

However, what we enjoy most of all is having people tell us their stories and allowing us to put it into video format. An inspiring individual who has impacted you and others around you? A moment in life that you recall that has changed your entire outlook for the better? A moment where you and your loved one exchange your eternal vows? We happily offer our skills in videography to help create such videos that deal in these types of media. Our production prides itself on making videos that accurately portray the emotion and themes of the clients wishes.

Meet The Crew

Our production is comprised of a small group of people who are experienced in in filming and are hard working and dedicated in what they do. Each member has had adequate training in videography and/or has worked on other video related projects in their lifetime.

Videographer/Editor

Ian D. Byrd

Ian has been doing video work ever since he was in middle school, starting off with his first video "A Boy and his Dog," which involves a child who finds that his neighbors dog can talk. Ian learned how to utilize both a camera and Windows Media Player to create the video and won first place in a Boy Scout event. In high school, he moved to Miami Valley Career Tech Center to study two years of Media and Video Production and then moved to Miami University, where he received a bachelors degree in English and Film studies.

How We Do It?

Sacred Tales Productions offers it's services in a manner that is both organized and user friendly for all our clients. We follow a series of steps that involves communication with our clients and a schedule oriented workflow to ensure proper preparation and ease of production.

First, a customer leaves us a message via "Request our Services" on our "Contact" page, in which the client briefly discusses what kind of video they wish us to make. Clients may also request us via phone call or email. Then, we reach out to the customer and schedule when to meet with them. This allows us to determine how to proceed through pre-production as well as discuss any other minor details that the client may have on the day of the video-shooting( these include where to arrive, time of arrival, as well as discussing what the client would want the end product to look like after post production). Afterwards, both the client and the videographer sign a contract that signifies the start of the production of the video.

From here on, both parties agree to work together and the videographer will work directly with the client during the pre-production phase (camera shooting) in capturing all the necessary footage. Finally, the videographer will edit all the captured footage into one video and deliver the video to our client via email.
